My husband and I come to Lanzarote every few weeks. We are coming again on April 26th. We would love to start to learn Spanish (beginners!!). We also like the sound of 'conversation' Spanish. We are from Ireland. I have been reading Spanish phrase books and can say the words in the privacy of my kitchen...but have absolutely no confidence when face-to-face trying to order a meal or buy something. My e-mail is Hazelwilliams@eircom.net if anyone can help or advise classes we could go to. Thanks.

did anyone go to the Intercambio? and if so, how did it go?

I live in Playa Blanca and would have loved to have gone but transport is a bit of an issue unfortunately. So, instead we went to our neighbours for a bbq and had our own intercambio...it was surprising how much Spanish we have picked up and the conversation flowed all night, though it was helped along by lots of alcohol! :P

If there is another, is there any chance of doing it near PB?  ;D
