If you know of anyone coming from UK soon, ask them to get a card of button cells from a pound shop - it'll cost ..... £1 and should fix all your watches several times.

yes i bought batteries for my watches from one of the chinese shops in PB - worked fine! A lot cheaper than getting them from the uk jewellers ( i didn't check out the pound shops though).

Thanks everyone, I looked for the cards of batteries in the chinese shop next door to hiperdino in playa honda, but didn't see them, perhaps I didn't look hard enough, will try some of the others.

Lou - which one did you go to honey? I hadn't thought of the Chinese shops for the couple of watches I have knocking about that have sentimental value. Good call!
Elle xx
PS: Mind you - I haven't worn a watch in about 3 years now.

Elle - it was along the main street, in the middle of the shops along from servantes - the largest one out of them all, it was a couple of years ago - they had them hanging on the wall near to the till.
